Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Forming part of the Maintenance team, the maintenance technician will:

• Support Production operations by attend to, diagnosing, and repair of faults that may arise on machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and work on fault finding.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, according to requirements.
• Carry out installations and facility maintenance.
• Any other related duties as may be required.
• Operate, monitor and control all plant operations on the facility.
• Address technical maintenance and repairs of the facility in a timely manner.
• Perform regular checks to technical areas as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Duly report on checks done on the property, reference the Chief Engineer’s logbook.
• Report issues, regular monitoring and updating of machine interventions.
• Escalate and report issues to machine suppliers.
• Assist in other trades in the department as deemed necessary.
• Ensure a proper handover at start and end of shift.

• Previous experience in service maintenance.
• Formal Qualification preferably at MQF Level 5 Diploma or MQF Level 4 Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering field.
• Ideally, in possession of Electrical License A.
• Excellent written and oral proficiency in English.
• Good use of MS Office applications.
• Team worker with good communication skills.
• Willing to work on Shift.
