We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate to form part of the Electronics R&D team within the Engineering department. The position includes the electronic hardware development for Thermal Management solutions including testing equipment.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Designing controllers and electronic boards to meet the provided specifications and requirements.
- Order / build / modify prototype controllers as necessary. Develop and perform qualification testing procedures for hardware.
- Create and execute test plans for new and existing electronic boards including tests for release into production, product qualification, repairs, modifications, failure analysis, pre-compliance testing, etc.
- Provide technical support to members of the Engineering and other departments in the troubleshooting of electrical and electronic issues, including carrying out fault analysis and identifying testing procedures if necessary.
- Prepare documentation and liaise with suppliers for the implementation of a controller into production.
- Find alternative components and design solutions for improved quality and reduced cost.
