We are seeking to recruit a Plastic Injection Coordinator to assist our Plastic Injection and Matotech Tool Shop. The selected candidate would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the full scope of activities related to the plastic injection molding process. This includes production planning, inventory control, procurement of machine spares, coordination with subcontractors, training of technical personnel, and process improvement.
This role demands a hands-on approach, technical problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments and external partners. The coordinator is a key figure in maintaining production efficiency, compliance, and consistent output quality.
Job responsibilities and daily tasks:
- Execute production planning based on Manufacturing Schedules and sales history.
- Train personnel, including Setters, Tool Makers, and Oracle/software users.
- Prepare injection department documentation for internal and external audits.
- Analyze monthly scrap data and provide reports.
- Close production jobs in Oracle and maintains traceability.
- Troubleshoot molds and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Set process parameters for new tools.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machines and ancillary equipment.
